Transferring AMEX Points to partners will give your points the best value since 1 airline mile with most of AMEX's partners are worth anywhere from 1p to 2p depending on the redemptions.

For example, a one-way flight in the with Singapore Airlines in their popular Singapore Suites would normally cost you around £3,000. You can transfer AMEX Points to Singapore KrisFlyer Miles and book an award flight for as little as 85,000 KrisFlyer Miles.

This would give your points a value of 3.5p each which is significantly more value than anything you would get when redeeming your points directly with American Express.
