Endless Love | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Richard Schickel TIME Magazine Is Brooke Shields truly obsession worthy? And can she carry, commercially, another movie about another kind of obsession? The answer is no. Feb 12, 2014 Full Review Endless Love | Rotten Tomatoes (2) Variety Staff Variety A Cotton-candy rendition of Scott Spencer's powerful novel, Endless Love is a manipulative tale of a doomed romance which careens repeatedly between the credible and the ridiculous. Jul 26, 2007 Full Review Endless Love | Rotten Tomatoes (3) Time Out As excruciating as the Diana Ross/Lionel Richie title tune. Jan 26, 2006 Full Review Endless Love | Rotten Tomatoes (4) Kenneth Turan New West/California Endless Love never lets you forget what the book's sophisticated language lets you ignore: that our protagonists are a pair of shallow, spoiled teenagers. Victor T By today's standards, this movie has aged very well. The cinematography and performances are exceptional. I think it's been underrated and panned unjustly. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/10/23 Full Review Mon B You had to be there when it came out- you will love it if you grew up with Brooke Shields- she was our beautiful friend on magazine covers- so gorgeous you could't hate her, especially since she was so darn sweet to everyone. But the movie- yeah, it's nuts-problematic, makes no sense. The parents forbid the couple to see each other for 30 days- so, they don't talk at school! That's nuts- of course they would. After years go by, the girls' father coincedentally runs in to our young man....walking in New York City. Go figure. And the boy wears the same shirt throughout the movie- no matter how many years go by- c'mon wardrobe, you can get him another outfit. But I still love it- because it's Brooke, and James Spader, and I love seeing Tom Cruise in his first appearance. Silly, funny, weird, and the best love song ever. Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/13/23 Full Review shelly l I had never seen this movie so when I saw it on Netflix I decided to give it a chance. This movie was so cringey. Brooke Shields has a very weird thing going on with the actor that played her Dad. In one scene she's sitting on his lap and he kisses her close to her mouth and it was just creepy. Then her Mom acts so weird and inappropriate with her daughter's boyfriend. I seriously think a pedo directed this film. Rated 1/5 Stars • Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Brooke Shields deserved so much better than this movie. Rated 2/5 Stars • Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Otvio F Endless Love has a fascinating soundtrack, but unfortunately the film is dragadissimo, it doesn't convince history, performances, anything. Rated 2/5 Stars • Rated 2 out of 5 stars 04/09/21 Full Review Audience Member Um filme muito bom para as limitações da época Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Read all reviews
