Where do you find Garchomp in Arceus? ›

Alpha Garchomp can be found at the far south of Avalanche Slopes in the Alabaster Icelands at level 85. This means trainers will need to be Rank 7 or higher if they want to add it to the team.

Research tasks may include objectives such as catching certain Pokémon, walking a certain distance with your Buddy Pokémon, or winning Gym Battles. For each task you complete, you'll unlock a reward. The more challenging a research task is, the greater the reward.

You can check a Pokémon's Research Tasks by visiting their page in your Pokédex and pressing Down. This brings up a list of all their associated tasks and your progress with them. A Pokémon's Research Tasks can also be accessed by focusing on it in the wild and pressing Down.

Gible requires (Level 24) to evolve into Gabite and then (Level 48) to evolve into Garchomp.

However, trainers can also catch Alpha Garchomp without fighting it as long as they have the right supplies, but Alpha Garchomp will attack aggressively if it spots the player, so trainers should still bring a strong team in case they need to battle to catch it.

When you get a research level to level 10 for a Pokemon, you'll have completed all available tasks and acquired all the information you can on this Pokemon species. Completing these tasks also gives you Pokemon research points which helps you rank up in the Galaxy Expedition Team.
