Laura Sanko Joins UFC 321 Broadcast Team, Replacing Joe Rogan
Damon Martin, a seasoned combat sports journalist since 2003, reveals the exciting lineup for the UFC 321 broadcast.
The highly anticipated UFC 321 event, taking place in Abu Dhabi on October 25, will feature a familiar face stepping in for the absent Joe Rogan. Rogan, known for his international event absences, won't be present for the second pay-per-view card of the month. Stepping up to the plate is Laura Sanko, a seasoned commentator who will provide insightful color commentary for the main event.
Sanko, a regular color commentator for the UFC since 2023, is no stranger to pay-per-view broadcasts. Her previous experience includes working the UFC 293 broadcast in Australia. This time, she'll be joined by play-by-play analyst Jon Anik and UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier, adding depth to the commentary team.
The event's in-house reporter will be the veteran broadcaster John Gooden, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
Beyond the main event between Tom Aspinall and Ciryl Gane, the co-main event will see the vacant strawweight title on the line as Virna Jandiroba faces Mackenzie Dern. This high-stakes bout will determine the new champion in the wake of Zhang Weili's move to the flyweight division.
With the event in Abu Dhabi, the main card will start at 2 p.m. ET, while the prelims will begin at 10 a.m. ET on October 25, offering fans an early start to the action.
