Lieutenant's Revolt is a quest in Bannerlord, given by lord notables. The quest giver describes a situation in which a soldier who used to serve under their banner has gone rogue. In response to a secret discussion about heavy tax levies, this soldier has taken it upon himself to gather a number of troops to his banner and preach to anyone who will listen that the people need to resist these new taxes at all costs. At this very moment, his small band parades from village to village trying to gather supporters. The quest giver wants this blatant, embarrassing sedition ended quickly and as quietly as possible. By force, if necessary.

- Find the mobile party of rebels, using the updates about villages they have visited and any visible tracks.
- Confront the revolt before they gather too much support
- Attempt to negotiate
- Succeed and convince them to disband.

Notes[]
- The quest as given will state the soldier's name in the title (i.e. Harold's Revolt).
- You will not be able to accept this quest unless you are part of the noble's faction, either as a mercenary or a vassal yourself.
- The target will be marked as a Friendly noble unit moving between the villages stated in the log updates. Once spotted, the target will be marked so players will be able to track them if they move out of the players view distance.
- The party of rebels is actually a fairly large group of elite, Tier 6 units and will be a tough nut to crack under any circ*mstances. The risk here is fairly high, relatively speaking; Losses are almost inevitable if you cannot successfully negotiate and you do only get one, fairly difficult shot at talking them down. But the rewards are commensurately high, as high level weapons, armor and mounts are certainly going to be a part of the loot table and so one should really consider using force if the odds favor the player's party. The thousands of denars bounty is almost a secondary reward, by comparison.
- In light of the high level of the troops in the revolt, their party is actually fairly swift when moving and can lead to quite the goose chase. Try to eliminate any outstanding issues with your mobility before trying to chase them down.
