NIRF Rankings 2023: Delhi University Ranks 22nd Overall, 5 DU Colleges in Top 10 (2024)

Ministry of Education has announced the National Institute Ranking Framework, NIRF Rankings 2023! As per the overall rankings, University of Delhi (DU) has ranked 22nd in the country. Apart from this, five DU colleges have made in into the list of Top 10 Colleges across India.

NIRF Rankings 2023 were presented by Minister of State for Education Rajkumar Ranjan Singh on June 5, 2023. While IIT Madras took the majority of the top spots once again, University of Delhi rose by one rank in 2023.

NIRF Rankings 2023 for Delhi University

In the category of top universities, Delhi University has recorded a rise from the 13th rank in 2022 to the 11th rank in 2023.

Lady Shri Ram College for Women has shown a massive drop compared to the 2022 Rankings. Despite a score difference of 1.51 from 2022, LSR College has dropped by four spots in NIRF Rankings 2023.

Other notable DU Colleges such as Hansraj College, St Stephen's College, Gargi College, Kamala Nehru College and more have managed to sustain their position in the top 50 colleges across India.

NIRF Rankings 2023: DU Colleges in Top 50

NIRF Rankings are presented in namely in the categories - Overall, Universities, College, Research Institutions, Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Medical, Dental, Law and Architecture. This year, Planning was added to Architecture and the categories of Agriculture and Allied Sectors and Innovation were also added by the ministry.
