Rare Engineering Branches – Ignite Engineers (2024)

While thinking about which branch to choose before taking admission to aBachelorof Engineering Program, the following branches come into mind:

(i) Computer Science Engineering

(ii) Electrical Engineering

(iii) Electronics and Communication Engineering

(iv) Mechanical Engineering

(v) Civil Engineering

Other than these branches there are many other engineering branches in which an aspirant can take admission. Of-course a student should go for a particular branch in which he/she has special interest. Have a look on the post “Which Engineering Branch Should I Choose??“. In case someone could not have developed any special interest for any particular engineering branch and still is interested to go for engineering study, then he/she can opt for thebelow mentionedbranches rather than going with the similar trends as others with the majorly followed branches mentioned above. The following branches are not commonly available in many engineering institutions and can be named as “rare engineering branches“. As a result the number of applicants for jobs in these fields are less, hence scope of jobs and higher study is more likely in these branches. But still I would suggest to find out your interest before choosing a particular engineering branch.
