Obituaries HOWARD L. HUFFMAN SENECAVILLE Howard L. Huffman, 69, of Senecaville, died at 2 p.m. Saturday at Guernsey Memorial Hospital at Cambridge following a lengthy illness. Mr.

Huffman was a retired employee of RCA and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -day Saints. Born Nov. 1910, at Trace Fork, W. Mr. Huffman was a son of Charles and Gertrude Matthews Huffman.

His wife. Mary Phillips Huffman, died Sept. 10, 1979. Surviving are one daughter, Louanna Singleton of the home: sons, Delmar of Norfolk. and William of Senecaville: six grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.

The service will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Meek Funeral Home at Senecaville with the Rev. George Henry officiating. Burial in Senecaville Cemetery, CONNIE HILL CALDWELL Mrs. Connie Hill, 36, of Canton, formerly of Caldwell, died at 1:45 p.m.

Saturday at Docotrs' Hospital at Massillon following a oneyear illness. She was a member of the First Baptist Church at Caldwell. Born Dec. 14, 1943, at Indian Head, she was a daughter of Joe and Kathlyn Gregg Ickes of Pleasant City Route 1. Surviving, in addition her parents, are her husband, Willard Hill of Canton; one son, Bryan, and two daughters, Lasttina and Christine, a all of the home; three sisters, Mrs.

Rose Marie Fish of Pleasant City, Mrs. Juanita Faye of Massillon and Mrs. Kathlyn Ruth Harper of Pleasant City Route and one brother, Teddy Joe Ickes of Port Washington, Ohio. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the McVay Funeral Home at Caldwell.

DESSIE C. CARTER Mrs. Dessie Clapper Carter, 69. of 1102 North Caldwell, died at 8 a.m. Sunday at Good Samaritan Medical Center at Zanesville where she had been a patient since Nov.

12. Mrs. Carter was a member of the Fair Oaks Baptist Church at Zanesville and Muskingum Chapter 485, OES, at Zanesville. Born July 8, 1910 at Zanesville, she was a daughter of Elmer and Duleie Dix Clapper. Surviving are her husband.

Burial in Fredericksdale Cemetery at Sarahsville Route 1. KATHRYN S. SHEPPARD Mrs. Kathryn Susan Sheppard, 60, of 143 W. First Frazeysburg, was found dead at about 9:30 a.m.

Sunday at her home. Mrs. Sheppard apparently died about 3 a.m. following an apparent heart attack. She had been in failing health since July 30.

Mrs. Sheppard was a press operator in the Ohio Plastic Co. at Frazeysburg and was a member of Frazeysburg United Methodist Church and Eagles Auxiliary 387 at Newark. Born March 18, 1919, at Frazeysburg. was a daughter of Peter and Lottie Cordray Bohr.

Surviving are her husband, Paul Sheppard of the Frazeysburg area: two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Sylvia) Young of 33 E. First Frazeysburg, and Mrs. Robert (Martha) Moore of Coshocton; two sons, Raymond C. of the Newark area and Leonard P.

Mrs. Dobbins was born Dec. 21, 1908, at Zanesville, a daughter of Merlin and Nettie Shaw Barlow. Her husband, William, died in August 1950. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs.
