In 2022, British Columbians working full-time earned an average weekly wage of $1,371.30, compared to the national average of $1,333.66. The average hourly wage for full-time employees in the province was $34.60.

As of June 1, 2023, B.C.’s minimum wage increased to $16.75per hour.
