Issue:
How do I adjust the cut in and cut out pressure settings on a 9013 pressure switch?

Product Line:
Pressure Switches

Environment:
9013 Pressure Switches

Resolution:
Always adjust the large hex nut first to set the operating point. Turn clockwise to increase pressure, counterclockwise to decrease. On standard operation, this is the cut-out, where the contacts will open on high pressure. On a reverse action device, this is the cut-in, where the contacts will close on high pressure.

For adjustable differential switches, adjust the differential set point by rotating the small hex nut CW or CCW. On fixed differential switches, do not adjust small hex nut.

For adjustable differential forward acting switches, where contacts close on falling pressure, the differential will be set on falling pressure.

On fixed differential ( 9013FHG** ) and reverse acting switches ( 9013FRG*** or 9013G*** Form R ), where contacts close on rising pressure, the differential will be set on falling pressure.
