Based on our JEE Main Rank predictor tool the percentile is expected to be in between 98.35 - 99.41 with 170 marks and the overall expected rank lies in between 10230 - 11500 approximately. The link to the rank predictor tool is:

If you belong to general category you have chances of getting seat in

To get into top NIT you really need to achieve rank under 10k, always try to score above 98-99 percentile to atleast get a NIT college in. Score of 170 is really good enough to get top NIT in top branches like NIT Warangal, NIT Prayagraj, NIT Rourkela, NIT Delhi, and many more.
